Job purpose

You will have a broad scope of responsibilities:

  • Participating into the development and implementation of the company’s and product specific ESG strategies
  • Producing sustainability and ESG related reporting, including ensuring compliance with current and future ESG regulations (SFDR, Taxonomy, LEC, etc.) and redaction of Sienna Private Credit’s annual ESG report
  • Leading the design of our approach to ESG integration in the investment process, with a strong focus on climate and biodiversity
  • Representing the firm’s ESG/impact investing capabilities, evidencing the ESG integration process to investors and Sienna IM Group’s Head of ESG
  • Producing ESG analysis of borrowers during pre-investment phase and on an ad hoc basis during the life of the investment
  • Selecting external partners: ESG consultants, auditors, data providers, etc.
  • Engaging with stakeholders, including sustainable finance associations, industry peers, portfolio companies to stay abreast of emerging trends, best practices, and ESG-related opportunities
  • Supervising ESG data collection processes and database updates
  • Promoting ESG awareness and understanding within the organization, providing and organizing training and guidance on ESG-related matters

Job requirements


  • Master’s degree in a relevant field such as finance, economics, sustainability or related disciplines


  • 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in sustainable investment or banking, sustainable consulting or sustainable audit sector

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Genuine interest for sustainability, social responsibility and environmental stewardship
  • Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and information related to ESG factors
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to driving sustainable and responsible investment practices
  • Proven aptitude for asserting and defending ideas with conviction
  • Knowledge of energy and carbon markets is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills in both French and English
