Sienna IM’s acquisition of Ver Capital draws media attention
Sienna Investment Management is expanding its private debt business with the acquisition of Italy’s Ver Capital.
Combining with the Milan-based Ver Capital will take Sienna IM’s private debt assets under management to €3bn. The deal will increase the firm’s geographic reach to eight countries.
Sienna IM, which will have a total of €34.1bn in assets under management following the transaction, is the pan-European asset manager of Groupe Bruxelles Lambert. It has strategies across listed and private assets and more than 80% of its assets are classified as Article 8 or 9 under the Sustainable Finance Disclosures Regulation (SFDR).
