Sienna IM Benelux advises Arkéa REIM on acquisition of light industrial asset in Velden-Venlo

Sienna Investment Managers’ (Sienna IM) Benelux Real Estate team has advised Arkéa REIM on the acquisition of a light industrial asset in Velden-Venlo, through a sale and leaseback structure. Marking Arkéa REIM’s fifth acquisition in the Netherlands, this transaction involves a light industrial property situated near the German border, boasting approximately 21,500 m² of lettable floor area, ample outdoor parking, and an energy performance label A.

Originally built in 1982 with subsequent expansions until 2018, the property is leased to Okechamp, a prominent global food processing company specializing in private label canned and jarred mushrooms, serving clients across 72 markets worldwide. Okechamp is the biggest European producer of sterilized mushrooms in cans and jars.
