Sienna IM in Benelux advises SCPI Transitions Europe (ARKEA REIM) on its first acquisition in Belgium
Sienna Investment Managers’ (Sienna IM) Benelux Real Estate team has advised the SCPI fund Transitions Europe, managed by Arkéa REIM, on the acquisition of its first asset in Belgium, marking its expansion into a seventh European country.
This transaction is part of the SCPI’s ongoing strategy to diversify its portfolio geographically and in terms of asset types, with the addition of an office building in Brussels.
Located in the heart of Brussels’ European Quarter, the building benefits from a prime location, in close proximity to European institutions, embassies, and numerous international organizations. It also enjoys a privileged position opposite the Parc du Cinquantenaire, offering unobstructed views and excellent accessibility.
Thanks to this prime location, the asset attracts a diverse and high-quality tenant base including European representative groups, public entities, and recognized international companies. This tenant mix contributes to secure rental income, with an average fixed lease term of 5.9 years.
For Sienna Investment Managers, Arthur Debaere – Real Estate Deputy Chief Investment Officer:
“With this qualitative acquisition in a new market for Arkea’s fund, we are not only further deepening its diversification strategy but also setting another milestone in our relationship with our trusted partner.”
Arkéa REIM was advised by Sienna Investment Managers, Loyens & Loeff (legal & tax) and Treex (technical). The seller was advised by Savills (commercial) and Clifford Chance (legal).
