Our story
Isabelle, Thomas, and Mikaël initially collaborated in an investment holding co-founded by Isabelle. Over a decade, they launched 5 venture capital funds, invested in 70+ growth tech companies, among which more than 30 of them achieved an exit or reached unicorn status.
They later spun off to establish Sienna Venture Capital, a subsidiary of Sienna Investment Managers, backed by Groupe Bruxelles Lambert, with a full investment autonomy.
Their expertise in identifying growth tech champions is unparalleled.

Isabelle
Amiel Azoulai
Founding & Managing Partner
Isabelle is Founder and Managing Partner of Sienna Venture Capital. She began her career at Crédit Suisse, where she was Head of the UHNWI (Ultra-High Net Worth Individuals and single family offices) department, advising wealthy clients on managing their unlisted company portfolios, and later helped to set up La Maison, an investment club, as co-founder and Managing Partner. Isabelle has a Master’s in Finance from Lincoln International Business School.
Mikael Pereira
Partner
Mikael joined the investment team at Sienna Venture Capital as a Partner, to focus on technology investments across a range of themes, such as food tech and agri-tech. He began his career at EY in the Private Equity department, where he was in charge of financial audits of venture capital and private equity funds, later moving to Blackstone, where he worked in valuation teams, before joining the investment team at La Maison Partners. Mikael has a Master’s in International Financial Analysis from Neoma and Inseec.
Thomas Visan
Partner
Thomas joined the investment team at Sienna Venture Capital as a Partner, to focus on technology investments across a range of themes, such as cyber security, artificial intelligence and digital health. He began his career at Zilkha Investments in New York, then in 2016 joined the investment team at La Maison Partners, where he helped set up and launch five funds in the major technology hubs. Thomas has a Master’s in International Finance from ESCE and Berkeley.
Diane Perin
Senior Associate of Sienna Venture Capital
Diane joined the Sienna Venture Capital team as a Senior Associate to focus on tech and impact investments. She started her career at ING in London, where she worked in M&A and Leveraged Finance. She then moved to NewAlpha, the tech VC fund of Groupe La Française where she worked on tech and early-stage investments. She later went back to M&A and fundraisings at Gimar & Co and Financière Monceau where she focused on tech and impact deals. Diane holds two Master’s degrees in financial engineering from ESSCA and EM Lyon.
