Job purpose
Senior member of a team of 8 people, the recruited person will be responsible for originating, structuring and executing HY infrastructure debt investments :
- Contribute to the development of an origination network and a pipeline of deal opportunities at a European
scale; - Contribute to the assessment and selection of investment opportunities in line with the fund’s investment
strategy; - Take the lead on structuring and negotiation with counterparties;
- Manage due diligence works and prepare investment-committee package in collaboration with a more junior team member;
- Take the lead on financing documentation processes;
- Support the monitoring team for post-signing activities (drawdowns, waivers, amendments, etc.);
- Contribute to strategic developments of the transition energy department (market analysis, competition, etc.), promotion of Sienna’s brand, open and active communication on Sienna’s infrastructure initiatives.
Job requirements
Education:
- Master degree in Engineering or/and Finance.
Experience:
- 7-10 years of strong experience in the infrastructure debt investment industry:
– Within an investment bank or for a private-debt fund; and
– With a good track record of deals closed.
Knowledge & Skills:
- Knowledge of the investment process from A to Z (except fund raising);
- Proven ability to structure and take the lead on the negotiation of term sheets and finance documents;
- Comfortable with analytical and modeling aspects;
- Knowledge of the renewable energy industry will be appreciated;
- Strong interpersonal and networking skills, ability to build business relationship and originate deals;
- English and French (fluent, written and spoken) + one other speaking proficiency in German/Italian/Spanish or other European language. Proven ability to write good-quality credit memorandums in English;
